Course Objective:
This programme is intended for individuals who lead or supervise others, or people being developed into a supervisory/team leading role. Duties will include communicating information, supporting team members, dealing with problems and managing performance. ILM qualifications offer a flexible way for individuals to gain international recognition of their skills and to help develop their career through the acquisition of new skills. BTSL work extremely closely with the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) and other awarding organisations to develop leaders and managers of the future and those who are already in post.
Course Delivery:
An assessor will visit the candidate at their workplace once a month for a minimum of one hour. In addition to this, they will be set approximately four hours of work to complete before the next meeting; this work will contribute to a portfolio of evidence. To achieve a Level 2 Diploma in Team Leading, you will complete 5 mandatory units and a minimum of 4 optional units to be agreed with your assessor.
